Bethany Womens Healthcare

BWHC uses a model of collaborative practice where patients benefit from the medical expertise of physicians and the holistic health focus of certified nurse-midwives. We are also privileged to have on staff a women's healthcare practitioner. Our dedicated providers have long been committed to providing universal access to affordable, cost-efficient, high-quality care. Women are recognized as important contributors to their own healthcare decision-making. This model of care allows BWHC to deliver satisfying, individualized attention and is proven to be an effective utilization of healthcare resources. Not only are we committed to providing care for a wide range of physical needs, we appreciate the importance of caring for the total individual-including emotional, social, and spiritual areas-throughout a lifetime.

Our practice philosophy recognizes pregnancy and birth as healthy experiences for the overwhelming majority of families. Most women are able to successfully labor and deliver without medical intervention or interference. Women and their families have the right to quality healthcare services that are medically safe and caregivers that recognize and respect unique social needs, spiritual beliefs, and one's ability to make appropriate decisions. This treatment should be holistic in nature, preventive in focus, and provide an opportunity for families to become active participants.
