I turned out to be negative, but I had already made my decision in the event of a positive test. I appreciated the fact that I had choices rearding the treatments had it been positive. I work as a medic...Thanks for posting those links! I work as a medical laboratory scientist/microbiologist at a university hospital, so I actually perform the testing. I also had a friend who tested GBS negative on her screen, but her baby was infected with GBS at birth, causing pneumonia. Thankfully, both baby and mom wound up being OK, but I've always wondered if mom truly acquired GBS between testing and labor or if her test was inaccurate.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
